Can we get speed bumps along Sherk St when construction is done Thank You

    Thank you for your question.

Speed humps are part of the design for this project. Once construction is complete, the road will be narrower because the bike lanes are being moved off the roadway and onto a new multi-use path on both sides of the street. This new layout will help slow traffic naturally.

After the project is completed and traffic returns to normal, the Municipality will conduct a speed study to determine if speeding continues to be an issue. If it is, speed humps may be installed when the final layer of asphalt is paved in 2026.
