electric scooters

I have become very concerned about the proliferation of electric scooters. They appear to be fun and fast , but are an accident waiting to happen. I've observed them going down the middle of car traffic lanes, more often than not with two people on board!

Please do some serious enforcement before people are injured or killed. BTW I've clocked them at almost 50kms going down the middle of one of the lanes in traffic on Erie St S., Leamington.
