About the Project
The Municipality of Leamington is undertaking a Traffic Infrastructure Improvements Project to enhance pedestrian safety, improve traffic operations, and support safer travel throughout the community.
The project includes the installation of three new Pedestrian Crossovers (PXOs) and a new traffic signal at key locations within Leamington.
Construction is anticipated to begin early August 2026 and be completed by November 27, 2026. Please note that construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.

Streetlight modifications and upgrades
Installation of a new traffic signal at Talbot Street West and Armstrong Drive
Associated roadway restoration, including curb, sidewalk, and pavement work as required
Traffic Impacts
Residents, businesses, and visitors may experience temporary traffic delays and lane restrictions during construction.
