A New Regional Park for Leamington's Growing Community

The Municipality of Leamington is moving forward with the development of Bayview Park, with construction expected to begin in early July 2026.

Located south of Bayview Cemetery along Bevel Line, the approximately 12-acre site currently includes a leash-free dog park and vacant land. The project will transform the area into a regional park designed to serve nearby neighbourhoods, support future residential growth, and provide enhanced recreational opportunities for residents across the community.

A key feature of the project is the planting of approximately 240 Carolinian trees, helping to expand Leamington's urban tree canopy while creating a greener, more inviting space for residents to enjoy. Combined with new recreational amenities, walking paths, and gathering spaces, the redevelopment will establish Bayview Park as an important community destination for years to come.
